Community Partnerships

Project Salvage, a collaboration between Comprehensive Community Solutions (CCS) and ReUse People of America, The United Way, Freeport Township, City of Freeport, Master Builder Jail Ministries, and Northwest Illinois Community Action Agency is in full swing as demolition begins on blighted structures in Freeport.

CCS, is the Area Manager for ReUse People of America. Four of the sixteen spots were referred by Freeport Township. Three of whom came out of Freeport Townships Right Direction Program. The hope is this training will result in long term employment for those who complete the program. We are excited to be a part of such a meaningful and purposeful collaboration.
